Everyone knows climate change is a major problem that concerns everyone, worldwide. Many people do however think of it as a problem far away from home, something that is not directly happening in their own environment. To make people aware of climate change in the everyday life, Lief was created.

Lief is a piece of statement headwear designed for sustainable awareness. Lief measures the air quality and communicates it to the person wearing it as well as to their surroundings by moving the leaf. In case of good air quality, the leaf is in its open state showing its shape and colours. When the air quality gets worse the leaf closes, thereby covering and protecting the wearer. The colours are then not visible anymore.
